DV flyer top.png

Hi All

Please see below an invite with Eventbrite link.  We would love to see you all there.  Please share with your networks.

On behalf of the Aldinga/Sellicks Alliance – Addressing Family Violence Working Group and the Onkaparinga Collaborative Approach (OCA) for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Family Violence we would like to extend an invitation for you to attend the:

Ending Domestic and Family Violence Breakfast on the Fleurieu

The Victory Hotel, Sellicks Beach

Friday 30 November 2018, 7 – 9am

Cost $55

We believe that community awareness of domestic and family violence (FDV) is extremely important and that communities who hold conversations surrounding FDV result in more cohesive and resilient communities.

When key community members are aware of services in their community, there is more chance of providing education and support to those in need.

This year, as a theme, we will be focusing on FAMILY VIOLENCE THROUGH GENERATIONS and will provide information on service providers offering relevant services.

You have been invited to this year’s Breakfast on the Fleurieu because we see you as a key community member who can help spread the message across to the greater community.

This event raises much needed funds for the Photo Voice program.  Programs such as Photo Voice and Women Are Strong are extremely important to provide safe spaces, education and healing for women who have experienced domestic and family violence.

Come and represent your organisation/community and join us in raising awareness.

We look forward to seeing you on 30 November.

Asian Market Day Celebration!

The annual Asian Market Day held at Victor Harbor High School has been a great success, with many visitors and school community members in attendance.

Performances by our own talented students and our visiting Sister School members, sumo wrestling, along with delicious snacks prepared by Mentor Classes provided many opportunities to soak up some of the Asian cultural experiences.

Thank you to all who made this a great day.
